How to turn off your parking lights when turning on your turn signal on LADA

- ELM327 adapter, you can buy on AliExpress (see product catalog).
- Ddt4all software ( download ).
Procedure to activate the function :
- Start ddt4all. Select the port. Select the adapter. Check the box and click Connect.
- In the window that will open, press the button marked with a circle (with a magnifying glass).
- Select the search CAN.
- In the left windows select “EMM_Lighting” and “EMM_Lighting-Configuration”.
- In the right window, find the parameter “Nbx_DRLclosedto_ID_CF”.
- Change the values from 0 to 1.
- Turn on the Expert mode (second icon on the left in the top menu).
- Save with the “Send” button

This picture can be seen in many modern cars, and it is done first of all for better perception of the turn signal, because sometimes when you look especially from the front of the car, it happens that the lights are blinding and when you turn on the turn signal it is not very well visible.
To implement this circuit in the car is not difficult, I would even say very easy, yes, you will have to do a little patching, but only a little. We only need a couple of 12 volt relays, you can take either from an old alarm system or simple car relays.
Two diodes, almost any diodes you can find and a couple of capacitors 1000 uF of 25 volts, in my case I put 2500 uF of 25 volts, the capacitor does not let the headlight flash between blinking turn signal, and also holds a little pause when you turn off the turn signal and turn the headlight back on. But right away I can say it’s better to put 1000 μf, because in my opinion a little bit long pause at 2500 μf after turning off the turn signal and turning on the DLS bulb, it will be clearly seen in the video at the end of the article.

Connection of the scheme on the car probably will not show, since each car has its own plugs and its own wiring. But I have Peugeot 3008, just in case I can write that where to connect, on the other brands of cars is all the same.
I took the relay from the old alarm and wired a diode and a capacitor directly to them.

So, for Peugeot 3008 connection;
On the plug, the wire in the middle (a little pink in my case) – this wire lights, cut it and connect to the closed contacts of the relay.
The wire to the left of it – the wire of the turn signal lamp, from it we energize. Mass – the two wires in the second row, connect to either. THAT’S IT.
I can show you the result on a short video. The first headlight is standard and the turn signal flashes together with low beam headlight, and here is the second headlight already made and there is a circuit connected to it. This is to give you a general idea.
