6 – control lamp of left turn indicator light (in the form of an arrow with a green filter). Lights up with blinking light when the left turn indicator light is on (synchronously with it). If the control lamp flashes twice as often or burns continuously, the lamp in any of the left turn indicators is burned out. VW instrument cluster

7 – information display. The display shows the readings of the electronic total mileage counter (odometer) in kilometers. After driving 1,000,000 km, a new odometer cycle is started. On the same display by successive pressing of button B of the mode changeover lever 9 (see Fig. 1.7) activate the indication of the daily odometer or output the information from the trip computer, and by successive pressing of buttons 20 (see Fig. 1.8) and 21 set the time in the clock indication mode. In addition the fuel level indicator with electronic scale is continuously displayed after switching on the ignition.

8 – signal lamp of brake system condition and parking brake activation (with red filter). Illuminated when the ignition is switched on in case of excessive lowering of the brake fluid level in the main brake cylinder reservoir, when the parking brake lever is raised, or in case of a fault in the brake force distribution system. In the latter case, at the same time with this lamp the lamp 10 of the antilock system malfunction is illuminated.

9 – right turn indicator light (in the form of an arrow with a green filter). Illuminates with blinking light when the right turn signal light is on (synchronously with it). Blinking of the control lamp with double frequency or its constant lighting indicates a burned-out lamp in any right turn indicator.

VW POLO 6R0920860K EUROPA OEM dashboard in polo sedan

Good afternoon dear subscribers and guests of the page. Today’s post will be devoted to the removal of yet another element that has long pissed me off, namely red, cropped underdashboard polo. Dashboard from Polo GTI is certainly cooler, but its cost even stopped me from buying it.Therefore, it was decided to put on the European Polo. In principle, it meets my needs: full-size screen.not cut as Polo and restyle, OEM chrome rings around the wells speedometer and tachometer. Actually bought here, on the drive (about this I will say at the end) In addition to the functions that were on the red instrument panel added: 1-Low Coolant Level Sensor 2-Low Washer Fluid Sensor 3-Sensor automatic dimming dashboard in Daytime Running Lights mode, depending on lighting (in the video, this function prodemoustrannya) So, in this form to me came set:

On installation everything is simple: the crown is drilled a hole under the sensor:

A sealing ring is inserted (I additionally put on sealant).

The sensor itself is inserted

A sensor pin is inserted

In the instrument panel: 1 pin of the washer sensor shoe-17 pin instrument panel 2 pin washer sensor shoe-20 pin instrument panel (constant negative)

2- Since there is already a low level sensor in the tank, you just need to connect it. To connect you need: 1) 1K0 973 202- Electrical connector housing(1pc); 2) 357 972 741-wire grommet, blue(2pc); 3) N 906 844 05-wire connector(2pc); 4) N 907 647 01-wire connector(1pc).

Wiring diagram: 1-pin connector housing (constant minus) – to the 20th pin of the instrument cluster; 2-pin connector housing (signal wire) – to the 18th pin of the instrument cluster.

And the traditional “BEFORE” and “AFTER”

The dashboard suits me completely, satisfies, so to speak, my needs. Everything that pissed me off is eliminated. And now, as in a Brazilian TV series need to mention all parties involved, one way or another to the implementation of my next tunechka-want: Dashboard was purchased from ianis026 prepared seller dash under Polo sedan, calibrated the tank, etc. etc. andrey-na Did the seller prepares wiring for coolant and washer fluid sensors cafari And in final: revived this dashboard at my place, made new flasks chips, tuned mkuklenkov Guys, thanks for your participation! Without you, the implementation of this idea could have dragged on indefinitely, or did not take place at all! A report on my trip to Serpukhov can be seen in a personal blog, entitled “Trip Lipetsk-Serpukhov-Tula-Lipetsk” Thank you all for the attention! Likes and reposts are welcome. Peace, good luck, smooth roads and full tanks!

Hey, where did you write the keys to the dashboard?

Hi. Did you read the post? Or just look at the pictures? )))) Right at the end of all the people mentioned, who made flasks for key chips.

Congratulations! This dash is 100,000 times better than the restyling one! But how did you manage to get it prescribed? What year is the dashboard? My dashboard is from 2010 year and it didn’t register it in any way, neither OD couldn’t register it nor Andrew :/)

I think mine was 2012.

Most likely, OD told me that before 2012 they started putting another type of immobilizer in the dashboard, so my polo from late 2012, could not prescribe the keys …

Great job, I also looked at this dashboard) much better than the restyled sedan, and about the temperature – first thought too bad that there is no, but over 4 years got used to and now generally do not understand why so chase after a dash with a temperature, would be the difference 2-3 thousand, okay, and here at 2-3 times more expensive for an arrow which also shows not the exact temperature, and approximate. If your car is fine, the temperature will be within normal limits in winter and summer, and if it is faulty, the instrument with arrows will hardly make life easier)

I completely share the opinion

The dashboard with arrows will show you that your car is not in working order! Without the engine temperature display, you hope the thermostat is good, the fan works, the temperature sensor that turns the fan on is good. But it’s often the case that the temp sensor or fan control unit isn’t working/functional, and the thermostat can jam. As a result the engine overheats/jams! If there was at least some sort of temperature indicator, you would have noticed that overheating was going on! And there is no point in hoping that this is a “German” car. Firstly, it is not very German, and secondly, it is the car, it is characteristic to break down sooner or later and additional control will not hurt.

I, too, when I switched to a polo, at first I was surprised, I even know people who mauve the foreign cars so they don’t rot), but in fact, when overheating, the “Jack” lights up, all the reasons you wrote are the problems of tazov owners, when all of a sudden, out of the blue, and something stops working. Well, if you change everything according to regulations and do diagnostics with inspection once in 10-20 thousand then chances are minimized. Well, it depends on many factors, but there is no acute need for a temperature sensor. Besides, on Volks, it does not show exact temperature.

For information – the block on Polo which controls the cooling fan is a weak place. So, when it will fail, and there is no arrow and Jackie Chan will light up for no reason at all, while you will stop, the temperature may fall over 130 grams, which is already critical. It has nothing to do with tazov culture – it speaks about moronicity of VG engineers. You see, they have a temperature sensor on other models, but not on Polo. And here is the photo of the coolest tazovods from AMG.
