“God’s spark” to replace the ignition module.
Good afternoon. The ignition module is asking to be put to rest. Still works, but something is not right. I have driven 146k miles and still have the factory one. On the forums, many people write that the new burn, for the season in a few pieces change. Decided to try to remake the ignition for Kalino coil with two switches. Watched a lot of information on the subject, but everyone is different. Someone solders out one part of the commutator, someone writes that it is necessary to solder out 5, someone solders a diode, someone not. On the connection of connectors I + – I understand how, but exactly what to remove from the switches and whether it is necessary to solder diodes into them? How to do it right? Commutators, as I understand it, preferably Astro 95.3734, coil better take bosch. What kind of ignition wires and spark plugs do I need? What kind of spark plug gaps should I get? And the main question – will it be necessary to change ignition timing in the firmware? January 5.1-41

All have long been explained here )) instead of kalino coil better 2 gazelle – to change one if something easier and cheaper)

Hmm. Kalinokatushku belching do not remember to see. But I’ve seen twin ZMZ coils. Maybe a dud or a shoal in the wiring dunno.

Clearly chewed up, but everyone is doing it differently, I want to know how to do it right, as I myself do not understand these chips. kalino coil dimensions are smaller, and like write that more reliable.

I think you can find more than one at the diagnosticians, and if you have a megohmmeter and start calling for resistance and breakdown – then out of 100 maybe 20 in all the tolerances will fit. (I’m talking about used )))) and the manufacturers. what is it probably more than one and not two?

You need to bring the schematic of switches 2108 to the type of module 2112
Here is the diagram of module 2112
And here is what you need to do with each commutator
According to the scheme also need to remove the capacitor C3 going to foot 8, or just remove the resistor R7 between 3 and 5 legs, and raise the legs 8, 10, 11 (which is the same as removing capacitors c1, c2, c3), the capacitor c7 is not removed – this filter on the power.
P.S. with Kalino coils no problem.

new or used? I’ve seen several. and with a breakdown of one pin to the ground. and with a shorted turns. (probably correct to say a breakdown, not a short circuit on the secondary …) but probably adjusters will say – blame the wires and plugs)) as in Honda once without plugs people spun the coil and comet – and throw them out . (well, if the coil is not the original))

“God’s spark” on VAZ-2112 with his hands
God’s spark is a two-circuit ignition system, which was invented in the 90’s to ensure uninterrupted operation of the spark plugs in the cylinders. Of course, modern knowledge and technology allow you to make this modification for almost any injector car, including VAZ-2112.
In the video experience installing “God’s spark” on the 16-valve engine VAZ-2112. The results of two years operation:
Reasons and benefits of installing a “God’s spark”
Engine 2112 with the “God’s spark” ignition installed
Before we consider the pros, it is worth understanding why in general motorists install the refinement of the ignition “God’s spark” on the car . So, let’s consider, the main disadvantages:
- Stock modules can not stand when the engine is revved, and begin to stall during acceleration.
- Afraid of overheating and vibration.
- Costly replacement costs.
Now that the disadvantages are known, it’s worth looking at the positives:
- Ignition works smoothly at all speeds.
- Weak response to heat and vibration.
- The cost of replacement is low.
Creating with our own hands
When all the basic issues are considered, you can proceed directly to the installation. So, to begin with, it is worth considering what will be needed to make this revolution:
- Two switches. According to the recommendations of car enthusiasts, it is worth taking Astro 96.3734.
- Ignition coil 2110-3705010-02-02. Read more about checking the ignition coil here.
- Wiring for the commutator 2108-3724027.
- Connector for the coil.
- Soldering elements.
Now that everything is assembled, you can proceed to the step-by-step assembly. It is worth noting that the clarity of execution is the key to success.
- Let’s solder the wiring. A special attention should be paid to “+” and “-“, because if you mix them up, you can get a solid amount of money, because the electronic ignition unit will burn out and it is high risk of being replaced.

Red outlined elements that need to be removed from the commutator

The commutator is attached to a conveniently accessible location
Now that everything is connected, testing can be done. If everything is done, correctly, the car will get a lot of benefits, and the engine will stop stalling. Another plus will be a reduction in fuel consumption.
Conclusions
Installing the ignition “godspark” on the VAZ-2112 with your own hands is quite real . Of course, if you do not know how to use a soldering iron or do not distinguish the wires, you will have to turn to electricians, who will gladly and for a little money do everything to the highest standard.
